Saturday Morning Plant Walks at Crawford State Park
Join naturalist-interpreter Sandie on a walk around the park to explore native plants, fungi and slime molds.
Retired naturalist-turned-interpreter Sandie Durand will guide visitors on a walk throughout the park to view and discuss native plants, fungi, and slime molds, including traditional human use of these resources. Walks occur every Saturday through August.
Open to all ages, no previous experience is needed.
The walk will be conducted at a leisurely pace but does require navigating slopes and a short, unpaved hiking trail. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for all weather conditions.
Bug spray recommended.
