After dinner, Join staff for family-friendly evening programs. Programs are 30 minutes and cover a variety of park topics. All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at the Amphitheater at 7 p.m. No registration required.

Location: Amphitheater, Deception Pass State Park

Vehicle access to the amphitheater may be limited due to winter storm damage. For more information and updates on the closure, please visit the West Beach Parking Area Damage project page.  

The amphitheater can be accessed by walking from the Cranberry Lake campground or East Cranberry parking lot. To request an accessible option, please contact park staff at DeceptionPass.Interpreter@parks.wa.gov. Requests must be made 24 hours in advance.

  • From HWY 20 enter the main park entrance. This entrance is located south of the bridge on Whidbey Island. 
  • Follow the road and take the second left to park at the East Cranberry parking lot. 
  • From East Cranberry parking lot, it is a one mile walk to the amphitheater. 

Campers are invited to walk directly from their campsite. The amphitheater is located between the Cranberry Lake Campground and West Beach.
