You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.     There are now Nature Backpacks available for check-out at Bay View State Park! Each backpack includes educational materials and a set of kid-friendly tools to help young explorers learn about nature. Inside, you’ll find binoculars, observation tools, colored pencils, a field journal, books, activities and more.

    Visit us at the Bay View Registration Station to request a Nature Backpack. You can borrow a backpack for either 48 hours or one week.

    Designed similar to existing geocaching activities, Adventure Labs will guide you through the parks as you solve questions using physical features within the landscape.

  3. Museum of Flight - Summer Science Series

    Join volunteers from the Museum of Flight for different Summer Science Series activities every Tuesday.

    You could build a flying contraption and test it in a wind tube, design a space suit and learn how it keeps astronauts safe, design your own “supersonic fling flyer,” learn how scientists create images of objects in space, or create art using mathematical graphs.
