Washington State Parks needs more Park Hosts to help us this summer!

Love working with people? Enjoy camping? Passionate about parks and looking for adventure? Become a Park Host!

Park Hosts help us achieve our mission to connect all Washingtonians to their diverse natural and cultural heritage and provide memorable recreational experience and educational experiences.

Benefits: Come stay in one of over 70 State Parks campsites for 30 to 90 days and help park staff to provide information to visitors, help answer questions, and explain park rules. Hosts are given a designated RV site and utilities during their volunteer service. You will be joining a supportive community of volunteers and staff who serve the pubic and our public lands.

What do you need? Hosts need to be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check. They need to provide their own RV, and make a 30 day commitment. Host volunteers are required to give a minimum of 28 hours of volunteer service per week (5 days on, 2 days off).

How do you apply? Check out our Park Host Page on our website for full details on how to apply
