OLYMPIA – Dec. 4, 2017– The Washington State Parks 2018 wall calendar is now available for purchase.
The 2018 State Parks calendar features brilliant color photos representing some of the park system’s premier and unique features. Many photographs capture spectacular park views, including:
- A panoramic view of Daroga State Park
- A fascinating photo of Gardner Cave at Crawford State Park
- An inviting view at Skagit Island Marine State Park in the San Juan Islands
- A fairytale scene of a cabin in the woods at Kitsap Memorial State Park
- A beautiful underwater photo of an opalescent nudibranch at Saltwater State Park
- A holiday scene at Deception Pass State Park
Photographs are by Vince Streano of Streano/Havens Photography, Megan Kennedy of Rogue Heart Media, Carolyn Schneider of Standing Stones Photography and Design, Drew Collins of Made in Puget Sound, as well as from photographers who submitted photos to the Washington State Parks Foundation photo contest.
The calendar measures 13 inches by 9 inches when closed and opens to a vertical format measuring 13 inches by 18 inches. The calendar sells for $18.99 plus tax and is available for purchase online. To purchase, visit myprint.wa.gov and enter “calendar” in the search area. A link to the calendar order also is available on the State Parks website at www.parks.state.wa.us/wallcalendar. Orders must be made by Dec. 16, for delivery by Christmas.
