ADA Transition Planning
The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission is updating its Transition Plan to address barriers to accessibility for people with disabilities. The updated Transition Plan will help identify policy, program, and physical barriers to accessibility, and will develop barrier removal solutions to better allow people with disabilities to access the state park system’s natural, cultural, and recreational features.

Alta Lake and Bridgeport CAMP
In November 2019, a Classification and Management Plan (CAMP) was completed for Alta Lake and Bridgeport state parks.

Auburn State Park Property Disposition
The Washington State Parks & Recreation Commission has deemed the following property surplus to the needs for state park purposes and is offering it for sale at the appraised value of $2,080,000.

Beacon Rock
On January 31, 2001 the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission approved the management plan.

Beacon Rock Management Plan Update
In June 2017, Washington State Parks updated the Climbing Management Plan for Beacon Rock State Park. In doing so State Parks worked with an advisory committee comprised of Beacon Rock climbers and representatives from the Access Fund, the Mazamas, the Washington Climbers Coalition and the American Alpine Club.

Blake Island Marine State Park Facility Improvement
The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission is developing the Blake Island Marine State Park Facility Improvement Project to meet Office of Financial Management’s Predesign Report requirements.

Camano Island
The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission approved a Classification and Management Plan in November 2013.

Cape Disappointment
In March 2004, the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission adopted a new master plan to guide future development at Cape Disappointment State Park for the next 20 years and beyond.

Central Whidbey
In January 2008 Washington State Parks completed the land-use plan for the Central Whidbey area, which includes Fort Casey, Fort Ebey, Ebey's Landing and Joseph Whidbey state parks.

Dash Point - Saltwater Park
In January 2009 Washington State Parks completed the land-use plan for the SeaTac area state parks, including, Dash Point and Saltwater.

Dosewallips
In June 2006 Washington State Parks completed a land-use plan for Dosewallips State Park.

Central Kitsap
In April 2009 Washington State Parks completed a land-use plan for central Kitsap area state parks, including Blake Island, Manchester, Illahee, Scenic Beach.

Crystal Springs Sno-Park
In 2010 Washington State Parks and Recreation worked with the Washington State Department of Transportation to develop a plan for the Sno-Park that meets the needs of park users while also meeting requirements for snow storage and storm water treatment.

Columbia Hills - Dalles Mountain Ranch
In June 2003 the planning project for Columbia Hills State Park was completed.

On June 5, 2006 the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission approved a management plan for Columbia Plateau Trail.
