Park staff are reporting crowded conditions, including full parking lots and illegally parked vehicles. Neighboring Crystal Springs, Lake Easton and Kachess make excellent alternatives
There is no outlet; dead-end road. Parking is only permitted on the north side of the road. Do not park on highway interchange or onramps or offramps - you will get ticketed and or towed.

For buses and groups of 20 or more people, a Special Recreational Permit is required. Please contact Lake Easton State Park at 509-656-2586. At least a two week notice is preferred.
** Please note that the section of the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail (formerly the John Wayne Pioneer Trail) east of USFS Rd 5400 to Easton is shared use (snowmobile, x-country ski, snowshoe and dog sled). Snowmobiler’s need to use caution!

**Overnight camping and campfires are allowed at Crystal Springs Sno-Park. Campfires must be in a portable fire receptacle not to exceed three feet in diameter and must be at least six inches off the ground.
Special Events: Sno-Park is open to all visitors during special events. Arrive early to secure a parking space. When parking lot is full, please proceed to the next Sno-Park.

Schedule - Wed-Sun beginning Dec. 8th
12/9/22: Crystal Springs; groomed 41rd out to radio towers and 122 spur. Continued out 41rd until we hit trees turned around and then returned via Dandy Pass loop and Lost Lake.
12/8/22: Crystal Springs; groomed up and around Dandy Pass including weather station, 54rd and Meadow pass. Also did 5480 to Lost Lake and back.

Caution: Cole Creek Bridge is not groomed, located 2 miles above the Eastern Reload Sno-park, please SLOW DOWN, and stay on the trail and cross the bridge slowly as the bridge surface is not groomed. Caution sings have been posted. Please stay on the trail as you cross WA State Dept. of Wildlife property.
