Boating fees

Launching a boat at a state park requires one of the following:

  • An annual launch permit (Natural Investment Permit)
  • An annual Discover Pass and a daily launch permit
  • A one-day Discover Pass and a daily launch permit

Watercraft launch and trailer dump permits may be used at multiple parks. Daily permits are available at parks. Natural Investment permits are available for purchase in person at Washington State Parks headquarters at 1111 Israel Road SW in Olympia, at region offices, and at parks when staff are available. Annual permits also are available online. Fees are as follows:

  • Daily launch permit (included in camping fee): $7
    ($5 at Bridgeport, Columbia Hills, Conconully and Sacajawea state parks)
  • Natural Investment permit: $80

Marina Reservations

Marina slips can be reserved online at washington.goingtocamp.com, or by calling 888 226 7688.  Slips are $12 per night.

Moorage

If you moor at docks in fee areas multiple nights each year, an annual Moorage Permit may save you money. The annual permit is valid Jan. 1 through December 31, and allows moorage at all first come, first served state park moorage sites. Fees are as follows:

  • Overnight dock moorage: 70 cents per foot ($15 minimum)
  • Overnight buoy moorage: $15
  • Annual moorage permit: $5 per foot ($60 minimum)
