Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands. Bridle Trails State Park

    Join Botanist and Plant Ecologist Clay Antieau for a nature walk in Bridle Trails State Park. Learn about the natural history of the park from a popular field trip leader and a local authority. Learn how to identify plants, possibly see some rare and unusual species, and discuss problems that urban forests face with invasive species. Meet in the main parking lot. Please sign up in advance by phone or email. Cama Beach State Park

  1. Low tide Beach Walk

    Catch the today’s tide. Explore the intertidal zone with a guide. Meet at gap in the Cama Beach seawall by Cabin 38 where the road turns and goes up the hill.

  2. Toy Boat Building

    August 9, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Cama Beach State Park

    Children can build and decorate their own wooden toy boat at the historic boat house. This program is part of the activities provided by the Center for Wooden Boats.

  3. Free Park Bus Tours: Between Cama Beach and Camano Island State Parks

    August 9, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    Free bus tour of the two State Park. Guests can travel between the two parks, see the sights in both parks, walk the trails, visit the store, rent a boat, eat at the Café and hear some fun and educational information from the knowledgeable volunteer driver.
