Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands. Cama Beach State Park

    Children can build and decorate their own wooden toy boat at the historic boat house. This program is part of the activities provided by the Center for Wooden Boats.

  2. Free Park Bus Tours: Between Cama Beach and Camano Island State Parks

    August 2, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Camano Island State Park

    Free Park Bus Tours between Cama Beach Store and Camano Island State Park (CISP) campground. The bus leaves Cama at 11:00am, noon, 2:00pm and 3:00pm with return trips from CISP at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm. Also trips to the Ivy Lane trailhead at 1:00pm and 4:00pm. Travel along to start a hike at a trailhead or explore other parts of the two state parks

  3. How to Catch and Prepare Crabs.

    Learn how to catch and cook crabs. Crab bait can be purchased in the Cama Beach Store. Rent a boat and crab trap from the Boathouse. You do need a license to crab. Meet at the beach in front of the Cama Beach Store.

    1st Annual Bandit Fun Run/Walk. Registration and check in starts at 8am. Kids 1/2 mile fun run at 9am. 4.5 and 7.5 mile fun run/walk begin at 10 am. Festivities to follow.

Ocean City State Park

    Washington States only Frisbee beach tournament. A fun, highly spirited and competitive event. Come join the fun as an observer or sign up your team to compete.
