  1. Coast Savers Beach Clean Up

    July 5, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Twin Harbors

This Fourth of July weekend, Washington CoastSavers will be joining forces with the Grassroots Garbage Gang, Surfrider Foundation, the cities of Long Beach, Ocean Shores and other partners to tackle the enormous amounts of trash typically left on the beach after the holiday weekend. Please consider joining our efforts by volunteering to hand out bags at beach approaches on the afternoon of July 4th

Please check in before beginning any cleanup activities. Check in is at the Schafer Rd. Ocean Beach Approach parking lot, between 9:00 a.m. and 1 p.m. Volunteers will receive supplies, basic information about the cleanup, and will fill out a State Parks volunteer timesheet.

At this time, many people are optimistic that the Legislature will meet its June 30 deadline, failure to do so would trigger a statewide shutdown of services, including closure of state parks. Please be aware that this may impact this event.
