Drive south on SR 243 along the Columbia River from Vantage toward Mattawa. Turn right (west) onto Road 26 SW and go about 1 mile to the Priest Rapids/Buckshot Wildlife Area. Follow the gravel road into a parking area and turn right between two fence posts. Follow dirt road north 0.25 miles to fence on left side to a locked gate on left. Drive through the gate into the crop field towards the old pump house.

From Moses Lake, go south on SR 17. Cross I-90 and go 2.2 miles. Turn right on County Rd M SE and go 6.5 mi to O'Sullivan Dam Rd. Turn right and go 7.1 miles. Turn right at public fishing/hunting sign.
Features: Fishing for trout, bass, walleye, yellow perch, crappie, and bluegill.

Dodson Road Nature Trail (WDFW)
Wildlife Viewing
From Moses Lake, go west on I-90 to Dodson Rd. Go south on Dodson Road for about 3 miles. Turn left and then right on to gravel driveway.
Features: Trail around ponds and wetlands on the Desert Unit of the Columbia Basin Wildlife Area.
Accessible viewing blind is about 400 feet from paved parking space. Gravel trail is compacted but can be soft in places certain times of the year. Other Info: Cooperative project with the Audubon Society.

From Quincy, go south on SR 281 for 5 miles. Turn right onto 5 NW and go 3.2 miles. Turn left at Public Fishing/Hunting sign. Continue 1.9 miles to Burke Lake west access on both sides of the main road. Continue for 0.7 mile to reach Burke Lake Southwest. Turn left off of main gravel road and go through gate. Watch for Burke Lake sign.

Columbia Basin Hatchery (WDFW)
From SR 17 in Moses Lake, go east on Broadway Extension 0.5 mile, then north on Road K NE 2.56 miles to hatchery on the right.
Features: Bird hunting is possible at end of asphalt trail near marsh. Hatchery Creek recieves plants of rainbow and brown trout.

Rocky Ford Creek Overlook (WDFW)
Waterfowl Viewing and Hunting Blind
From Ephrata, travel south on SR 282 for 7.2 miles. Turn right onto Neppel Rd (Old Moses Lake Hwy). Go 0.1 mile and turn right at the public fishing sign. Continue .5 mile to the access site.
Features: The access duck blind is on a small pond off the creek. A vehicle can be used to drop off a disabled hunter next to the blind. The ground around the blind is rough and access into the water is best with a small hand launch boat or raft. Other Info: An accessible vault toilet is in parking lot located nearby for the walk-in fishers.

Located at the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers at the north end of Wenatchee, Wash.
From U.S. Hwy. 2:
The park is about 1.3 miles off the highway. Take U.S. Hwy. 2 east, and look for park signs as you enter Wenatchee. Take Easy St. exit, and head south. Turn left at first traffic light on Penny Rd., then turn right onto Chester Kimm St. Continue to T-intersection, and turn left onto Old Station Rd. Continue past railroad tracks. Park is on the right.
From Interstate 90:
Drive north on SR 28 through East Wenatchee. At stoplight at intersection of SR 28 and U.S. Hwy. 2, turn left. Move to right lane and cross Columbia River. Exit to the right immediately after crossing river and come to stop sign. Turn left and travel about 1/4 mile and turn left onto Old Station Rd. and follow roadway to the park.

Located four miles northeast of Winthrop, Wash., in north central Washington.
From SR20 south:
At the four-way stop in Winthrop, continue through the intersection and follow the main street up a hill, past the ambulance garage and town maintenance shop. Proceed north one-and-a-half miles as the road turns into East Chewuch Rd. Turn right onto Bear Creek Rd. (look for park signs) and continue to the end of the pavement. Turn right and follow road into park.

Lind Coulee - Bridge Site West (WDFW)

From Moses Lake, take SR-17 south. Cross I-90, go about 2.2 miles and turn right on County Road M. Go south for 6.1 miles and turn right just before the bridge.
Features: Southeast arm of Potholes Reservoir.
Paved, designated parking spaces for cars and trailers. Other Info: Fishing and remote camping at this location. Camping is level hard packed gravel near the launch paved areas. The area was paved and two new accessible vault toilets were installed along with a new boat launch in 2003.
