Deception Pass State Park

Deception Pass State Park is located on Whidbey Island in in Island County. The boat launch, moorage floats and pumpout are located in Cornet Bay.

Pumpout Facility Information
The self-pump EMP SaniSailor is open year-round 24 hours a day and is located on a float attached to the state pier. A slip is available for pumpout usage. Access to this pumpout is limited to vessels with a length of no more than 50 feet. 

Marine Services
There is a boat launch with parking and overnight moorage available for a fee. The guest dock is 300 feet in length. The total estimated guest boat capacity is approximately 40 boats depending on length. There are 11 moorage buoys available for a fee. The estimated minimum depth at mean low tide is approximately 25 feet. 

Day-Use & Campground Accommodations
Deception Pass has campsites available for overnight stays for a fee. Fires are allowed in provided fire rings and stoves only. Camping is available at three locations.

The park has 178 tent sites, 145 utility spaces, two RV dump stations, seven restrooms (four ADA), and six showers (four ADA).  20 tent sites are at Bowman Bay, 60 are at Quarry Pond, and 235 tent and RV sites are at Cranberry Lake.

Maximum site length is 60 feet (limited availability).  Showers are available for a fee. A reservable picnic shelter is available for a fee. Picnic tables available with barbeque pits are located in all day-use areas. A pay telephone available at the park office.
